Moyie Springs is more of an area than a town. Located along the Moyie River where it feeds into the Kootenai River, there are a number of homes on small lots around the local lumber mill. Many of the homes in the area are located on acreage on the outskirts. While the post office is by the mill, the center of town seems to be at the Moyie Springs Store providing gas, groceries, and other essential (and maybe non-essential) items to drivers by and the locals. 

Moyie Springs is also known for their annual Mud Bog event held on personal property 2 miles up Moyie River Rd from Hwy 2.
